Taking Responsibility

** The information in this blog is parts of a book that the author is sharing for feedback.  No information can be copied without the author’s permission.

The times we find our self holding others responsible for how we feel is the beginning of a whole new relationship with our self.  When we become aware that we are holding someone else accountable for something we need to be responsible for, a change in our perspective of who we are and what role we are playing with those around us occurs.  Taking that awareness and learning what we are feeling in these situations brings us closer to our self.  We can then detach misplaced thoughts and feelings and welcome them as our own.  This process will bring us new found strength as we gather all our energy that we have given to others.  It is like the sun that shines on the flower to grow into full bloom.  We are growing with each new realization and making the pathway for Something Greater to use us as a vessel.  Just like the stream that flows through the forest, it too will become cluttered with debris after a storm.  Clearing the way is necessary for the waters to continue to flow smoothly. By taking responsibility for who we are, we can accept today and  find peace in the knowledge that Something Greater bestows upon us.
